Adam is a native of the blooming arts utopia known as Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. He has been acting for most of his life. his earliest memory of performing was playing the Little Boy in a stage interpretation of Shel Silverstein's, The Giving Tree at the age of 7.
Adam continued acting through high school and College. Along the way he played an eclectic array of characters. A few of his favorites include: Judas/John the Baptist in Godspell , Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream , Oscar Jaffe in Twentieth Century , and The Mayor of Who in Seussical the Musical .
It wasn't until Adam was in college at St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, where he decided to expand his art. In his sophomore year, Adam directed his first show. It was a Murder Mystery Dinner Show called, Murder: Las Vegas Style! After the success of the show, Adam decided to both write and direct the next year's murder mystery. In November 2006, Adam produced his first self written show, The Late Night Show: A Murder Mystery. Later that Spring, Adam co-wrote, directed, produced and performed in a sketch comedy show with his college dramatics club. The production was called, Chapel Players Live . The show was written in the style and tradition of the famous Saturday Night Live . The following year, Adam wrote, directed, produced and appeared in another addition of the skecth comedy show before graduating from St. Joseph's.
In September 2008, Adam founded the Mount Carmel Theatre Company (MCTC). The theatre company resides in Williamsburg at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. The purpose of the theatre company is for young adult artists to find a place to work together. In March 2009 MCTC produced their first show, Broadway: Yesterday, Today, & Forever! A Musical Revue . Adam graduated from New York University in 2010 with his Masters Degree in Educational Theatre. Large career goals for Adam include gaining a second Masters Degree in Directing and a Ph.D in the Theatre.
HAPPENING NOW: Adam is working for THE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM as a Leadership Trainer/Teaching Artist. He currently teaches Drama at PS 96 and Public Speaking and Debate at MS 112
Adam is in pre production for CAROLS FOR A CAUSE: A Christmas Concert with Mount Carmel Theatre Co.
OCTOBER: Adam is currently in pre-production for a production of a new play, WRITING IN A VACUUM. The play, which he is directing and producing runs October 20-22, 2012 at Mount Carmel Theatre Co.
AUGUST 2011: Adam's episode on CELEBRITY GHOST STORIES will air August 6th on the Biography Channel. He portrays rocker Phil Varone.
Adam is currently in production for ALL SHOOK UP which he will be directing/producing ALL SHOOK UP with Mount Carmel Theatre Company in Williamsburg. It runs August 11-14.
Adam is currently directing BEACH BUMS by Justin Burke. It is part of the 13th Street Theatre Play Festival.
APRIL 2011: Adam will be directing/producing MCTC: IN CONCERT - DUETS with Mount Carmel Theatre Company in Williamsburg.
