BLACK FOOTNOTES will played it's World Premiere at The Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York City. It ran a limited engangment of 13 performances.

 

It was Produced by Adam Mace, Associate Producing Artistic Director of Rebel Theater.

 

The play focuses on the lives of four increadible black women of science and math: Dr. Eliza Anne Grier, Dr. Jane Cooke Wright, Dr. Geraldine Pittman Woods, and Dr. Evelyn Boyd Granville. It is told through story, music and dance.
